The newest Twilight Saga film was eclipsed by a cartoon flick. Watch out guys, the full report is up next.
Welcome back to ClevverTV everyone. I'm your host Joslyn Davis with the latest numbers from the box office.
Would you believe that the film to finally push the Twilight Saga Eclipse from the top spot is an animated feature? Yep, it's the truth. "Despicable Me," with stars the voices Steve Carell, Russel Brand and Miranda Cosgrove.
But don't get too teary eyed just yet. Although Eclipse dropped down to second place, it still managed to pull in 33.4 million dollars, pushing it to first place in a different category.
Overall, Eclipse is now officially the top-grossing film from the Saga franchise. It's currently leading New Moon by a measly 2 million bucks...but there is still time for that margin to grow a whole lot more.
